Hi,
This was a very casual natural light portrait of a friend (no post
processing). Wanted to get an idea of what photonetters think. Any
critiques are welcome.

Thanks everyone for your valuable comments.
Michael: I think you are absolutely spot on. The original picture was taken from a bus window (when the bus slowed down or stopped momentarily) at very low evening light at ISO 3200. So I had to post process it with Corel (very new with the software). Before I saw your comment, I actually started working on the original image again (taken in jpg, so I am a little limited with options). I will repost the 2nd generation soon.
Thanks again for commenting.

This was from a crowded bus in a late afternoon in Jodhpur, Rajasthan,
India. I guess the woman could see a lens poking from the bus at the
last second. Thanks for visiting and any critique is much appreciated.

From a local amateur theater production where I was a volunteer (not
assigned to take pictures). Got a second in the middle to shoot a few
quickies. Any comments are appreciated.

While waiting for a cab in Anchorage, Alaska, I noticed a salmon mural and
also a Grizzly statue on the other side of the road. This was the salmon
seaon when hordes of grizzlies go to rivers in Katmai National Park to catch
Salmon. I thought this would a be a little amusing and call this "the revenge
of the salmon". Lets see what fellow photographers think.

A casual shot of Central Park, NY that looked interesting.

On a frigid night in January in Manhattan, NY, me and a friend were
walking back to Grand Central Station after a long day out in the
museums. Grand Central looked great, so I set my tripod and took a
few shots with a runny nose and almost frozen hands. After a few shots
I packed everything up getting ready to cross the street and get inside
the station, right when a heat control started releasing steam on the
rooftop. The whole misty spray behind the statues made me open the
bag and get everything out and use a long exposure just in time to get a
nice halo of light behind reflecting from the steam. Did not have any
chance to record exposure data and almost lost a good friend.
