This is a very good start, you have a good eye for shape , texture & composition. Never be satisfied though, & experiment with light & colour. To me the green is overpowered by yellow. Slightly toning down the yellow , only a fraction, will help the green look more natural. Or of course you could try this one in Black & white , but tweek it as plain saturation will look flat. So increase contrast very slightly! Always save the original though, it is a good shot.

    Sorry for going on.

Keep up the good work, go with your heart.

This model has good eyes, get him back in the studio & do some more. He suits B&W. I like the cropping/composition in this one. When you desaturate make sure it isn't too flat, a touch more contrast would work here, very subtle changes when working with B&W in digital.

    Hope this is constructive.

    Keep up the good work

This is a great shot, good DOF, great colour. I wouldn't change it. However for a different version I might try making the background Black & white, keeping the flower coloured. Or even take the flower & black out the background to see the effect. But that is not because this image needs changing, it is just because I like experimenting!Keep up the good work.

  1. Out of these, this shot is the best. However,The tatoo is fighting with the boy's eyes. If you could get the boy to look over his shoulder to behind him , the focus would be then on the tatoo, not the boy. Then the picture becomes a shot caught of a child with a tatoo rather than a tatoo on a boy! Hope this makes some sense!

I love the perspective you caught here , not easy with large expanses of water. I am very impressed with the straight horizon! But again you have framed perfectly & managed to capture a natural scene beautifully. I want to be there!

Hi, I painted with photoshop, used a fine brush, picked a tone from the whites of the eyes & painted. I use a pen not a mouse.
