<p>Won a Kowa Six on an online auction (not Ebay). No info about condition before I bought it, so I was taking a chance. Camera arrived yesterday with shutter jammed. Here’s what I see:<br> Mirror in the up position.<br> Leaf shutter blades closed<br> Shutter lock button in unlocked position<br> Frame number window shows a red triangle<br> Shutter release can be depressed, but nothing happens. When I wind the film advance knob the takeup reel turns OK. Knob will keep turning (forever!) with a light clicking sound as it turns.<br> I tried to remove the lens, but can’t. The lens retaining ring will rotate about 1/2 inch - not enough to free the lens. Lens release lever on side of camera doesn’t seem to be doing anything.<br> Any suggestions? </p>
