Hello.
I am planning to buy a portable DVD burner for files backup as I land in Delhi.
Can anyone point out a store that sells that kind of stuff?
I also plan to buy extra batteries for my camera (Canon EOS-5D) and some CF cards, can I count on finding these
things in Delhi or should I come prepared?
Thank you for any answer.

Thank you but I can't open the link.
Anyhow I'm afraid 60GB would not be sufficient.
I'm also afraid to carry all the eggs in one basket...

Hello.
In three weeks I'm about to land in Delhi for a 2 months trip to north India.
I've read here about using a portable DVD burner to backup my photographs.
Does anyone has any recommendations about which model to buy and where to buy it in Delhi?
Any other thoughts about traveling with a camera and photography (or anything else) in India are most welcome.
Many thanks.

Thanks for the answer but how come the difference occur only after converting raw to jpg?

Hello,
I'm using Canon EOS-5D. When converting raw files to jpg and editing them with Photoshop cs3 I'm experiencing
differences in color between Photoshop and other programs.
These differences don't show when editing jpg files.
Can anyone explain this problem?
Thank you.

Hello.
I'd be thankful if someone could help figuring out what kind of background was
used in this photo:

Reversal film for studio lighting
in The Wet Darkroom: Film, Paper & Chemistry
Posted

Hello!

I photograph the works of a local glass artist.
Usually I work with Canon EOS-5d but now I would like to make few high quality prints (70X50 cm and above) and I don't think this camera would supply sufficient results.
I have the option of hiring a higher resolution camera (expensive) and I also thought about using reversal film and professional scanning (also expensive).
I shoot only 35mm for now.

1. Any suggestions?
2. Can anyone give me his opinion about which reversal film would be the most compatible for use with artificial lighting?

Thank You.
