I like that you left enough room below the skier, so it can be seen in wider context. Perhaps you could also left more room on the right side.

Beautiful.
Red leaf makes the final tuch.

On Mt Visevnik in Julian Alps, Slovenia. This is view towards NE. The prominent peak at upper left is Mt Kepa in Karavanke mountain chain on border between Slovenia and Austria (Austrian name Mittagskogel).
I woke up at 3:30 am, drove for 1h and a half and walked to the summit (700 m height difference). I was at the top one hour before sunrise. At the summit: -7C, wind speed 50 km/h. Freezing.
But the display of colors and views were a fair compensation for all the trouble :-)

Excellent shot.
Good colors, right decision to display the foreground rock very dark.

Intro: I am not an expert, so my comment is likely to be, ughh, silly.
I wonder wether the ant is slightly out of focus or is it blurred?

Nice shot.
To Eric: The numbers & letters seem to be a coordinate grid. No high tech or mystical meaning :-(

Intro: I am no expert, so this is an opinion by an ignorant.
Too much space on the left, too little on the right? Perhaps the lances should be center-weighted?
I like the parallel lines.

Intro: I am no expert, so this is an opinion by a complete amateur (but straight opinion). I wonder if the photo would be even better if the faces of "jockeys" would be completely visible and properly exposed?
Anyway, great capture of the moment.
