  1. The idea is nice. I would have used a polarizer to increase the color contrast between the ground and the sky. I also would have chosen a different time of day to maybe get rid of the shadow. A slightly different composition with the tree not right at the edge may also be worth a try (if its possible).
  2. I've rated O=4 because this shot has been done quite often. But still it's quite pleasing. (I personally think that the O rating is rather unsuited for most nature pictures. I've rarely seen a nature picture which was really original.)

    The action is stopped quite nicely. However, the people in the background prevent the car from standing out, and they distract a lot. A longer lens and different position would have helped.

    BTW, the Grand Prix of San Marino certainly didn't take place on the A1 ring in Austria...

  3. In case you're interested, this is not a Garden Spider but a Black-and-Yellow Argiope (Argiope aurantia).

    The front legs are out of focus. If you try to get the camera in parallel with the spider the DOF may be enough to get all parts of the spider in focus.
