There'sjust no understanding why they did what they did to Photonet.

I try to view a picture in a gallery . . . I can't really distinguish different versions of the same picture because I can't see the entire picture in the thumbnail . . . if I click on a picture and it's not the one I was looking for, I can't go back to the gallery view . . . I don't have the file names of some of the pictures anymore because I stowed the file names of some pictures in the data section, which has not fully made it through to the new site. So let me get this straight. Newbies were having trouble navigating the old site, so you did this? An experienced submariner couldn't navigate this site. And what's more, the features that gave me some amusement -- posting a picture for critique and ratings and seeing MY PICTURE ON THE HOME PAGE FOR A FEW MINUTES -- are gone. So, I ask you, what's left????

The old site was a little dowdy, but distinctive and appealing. Can't say that about the new site!

Thumbnails should show the entire picture. You should be able to look at all the pictures in a gallery as though you are looking at them in a light box. It is essentially impossible to objectively examine your photos if you can only see a portion of them.

I'm having the same problem as Jack McRitchie. Where did all my pictures go? Where is "the latest photo posted for critique" feature? The site seems to be but a shadow of its former self.
