    I did not just lift the saturation in photoshop :) The original slide has the same intense red color. Some parts of leaves appear blocky because they are out of focus due to curvature of leaves and also because they are wet :) Leaves vains are clearly visible.

    Thanks for the comments. I like the saturated colors of Ultra color film. I wonder if a slide film (velvia) could have captured the same scene, being much more restricted in latitude!!!

    Antelope Canyon. No filters. Prophoto scan from Kodak 400UC

    negative. No manipulation. The contrast range is amazing... from

    black all the way to bright yellow. After 2 years I can still feel

    the heat and dust of Antelope when I look at this photo :) Comments
