gorgeous with her between the rows of trees. Wonderfully done.
My daughter also wore a black wedding dress last year. I was frightened that it would be goth when she told me but it was ever-so elegant.

I've been looking up wedding photographs to get some new ideas for an upcoming wedding and I came across this one. It's Soooooooooooooo good.. and I would have done the same thing - only with a skirt on..lol
I'm curious as to how you took this with both the flower girl and the couple pretty focused?
:)

I like this view of the lighthouse in Marquette. I was on the other side last week when I shot it. Even though subdued, the red of the lighthouse is still a stand-out focal point amidst the hues and forms of blue.
This lighthouse is the reason I found you. Leo commented on my version and said he had a photo of it in his portfolio. When I looked I saw you remark about his saying it was in New England and was he sure? lol.. I said the same thing.
Oh, I was just in Escanaba the week before.. love those smokestacks and the industry area.

in fact, one of the most original and beautiful photos I've seen in a long time. There is a peace and a silence that comes with viewing this. Excellent.

Is this the one you were talking about on my "storm approaching" photo? Mine is in Marquette Michigan like the other viewer said. How odd.. even the view is the same. Beautiful photo, by the way.

Thank you all :)
Leo, the sky was dropped in as an overlay. I was taking photos of the sun and clouds through the sunroof on the way to Marquette (I wasn't driving..lol) and later when I was looking at this photo I thought it needed more ooomph. The sky was a beautiful blue but no clouds were in sight then and I like the dramatic look.

This is one of these images that make my mouth drop open and keep it there.. I'm just astounded by it.. the spiritual overtones are immense.. there is a gentility to it .. a silence..
Perfection.

VERY original.. I love the odd colors and the pose is hilarious.. very creative

Don't change a thing - it's perfect.. the intensity in sky and the simplicity in her stance. One gets a feeling of yearning and of waiting.
Looking at your work in this set, I think of what little talent I have.. Your work is amazing.
