    Hi Josef!

Very nice picture, great use of black and white!

The old look of the matches box is perfectly rendered.

I like also the shadow, gives a better feel of depth in the photo.

I'm not completely conviced of the surface where the box stands... it's clean, neat, reflective... but maybe was that contrast which you wanted to stress...

    Very nice anyway!

    Keep shooting!

    Hi John!

First of all welcome to Photo.net!!

Nice picture, the black background is a great choice for this kind of flowers.

The composition is good, i'd have chosen a deeper DOF to have perfect focus on all the flowers, but this is just my thought!

    very nice picture!

the zebra pattern is lovely, great timing in shooting exactly in that moment.

the shadow is very effective in giving depth to the movement and to the photo in its composition.

    good job then!

  1. Hi Bob!

    very nice pic and composition!

I like also the light pattern...

the exposition is good enough not to burns where the light is direct and to retains a good detail on the tarmac.

    very original also ;)

    Hi Piotr!

    Very nice pic!

I like so much the magnifing lens effect of the water drops.

The colors are also very well rendered and the main subject stand out really well on the background even if it's the same shade.

    Good job!

    Hi Yann!

I like this picture very much.

the color tones are really great, the line along the three trousers contribute to render very well the motion in the picture.

Very effective the pattern of the ladder, with top side lighter than the vertical side.

    Nice job!

    hi victor!

    nice pic!

unfortunately the left antenna seems to be not very sharp due to the short dof...

but i like the calm feeling of this photo. the greyscale proves to be a good choice in this case.

    very good then!

    go on shooting!

  2. i agree.

    it's very beatiful.

the use of black shadows in contrast with the light skin of the dancer is very effective.

the composition is balance and the texture soft.

    great shot!

    hi amanda!

    a very inspired shot...

the backlighting and the greyscale are used their best.

the text caption on the top part give the image a really professional look, makes me think of a book cover.

share more pictures, i'm sure you have a great portfolio :)

  3. hi tyler!

    very nice colors and composition.

you shoot in the best moment, when the sun was not yet completely uncoverd by the clouds... and also the wave movement of the water in the bottom part is very soft.

    good job then!

keep up with your photos and share more!

    hi igor!

this is a original shot for sure...

i like the composition and the object itself.

the background is very foggy, but you probably wanted to achieve this mysterious atmosphere... :)

i can see some sort of halo, a ligher small area on the sculpture contour, did you use some digital retouch or is it the natura lighting?

    Hi!

i like very much the idea of this picture.

it's a real pity you had that overexposure in the leftmost part of the leaf.

it's probably due to the light angle because you have the correct exposition on the right. maybe a new shot with better light condition could improve your photo. or maybe some photoshop retouch ;)

    but anyway i like it!
