Thanks for your kind remarks. Perhaps the lower than expected ratings, which seem more common lately, are the result of people not taking the time to view the images at full size. When viewed at the default size much of the tonality and detail is lost. -Jim

Here's a gathering of Eastern Great Egrets and Snowy Egrets chilling out on
the grassy banks of the Walter Boardman slough adjacent to the Tomoka

Looks even better when viewed at full resolution. I especially like the golden glow of the Shanghai skyline, but suspect it my by caused, in part, by the air pollution? -Jim

I previously submitted a posterized version of this photo for critiquing, but some
thought it would be a more effective image without the graphics. Now that I've posted
