    I like this a lot. The dog, the graffiti, and the pregnant woman with ice cream together create a theatrical image. Slightly less contrast would have been better IMHO.

    Susan, forgive me. I was being pedantic. I guessed this was shot in Qinghai, much of which, as you are probably aware, is Tibet, severed from the motherland through China's creation of the Tibet Autonomous Region. According to Wikipedia (I know, I know...), "When the Government of Tibet in Exile and the Tibetan refugee community worldwide refer to Tibet, they mean a large area that formed the cultural entity of Tibet for many centuries..." I'm not going to argue with that.

    Joe-I love the grain on this. It gives it a '70s look that is only accentuated by the clothes of the spectators and the haircut of the white kid getting owned.

    Very impressive and effective, Mario. You could have cropped some of the bottom off, but apart from that, a wonderful shot. I especially like the shine on the floorboards.

    Very good! My only two suggestions: Chop that top left corner off (somebody's feet). If you took a number of these, you should go back and look again. You might find another version that you prefer.

    You might want to check out Gary Winogrand's zoo photos. As he did, you should try to incorporate a human element. Good shot, though. I thought at first it was stuffed!
