This is a good one Brady. I've recently started an x-pro blog that you may be interested in checking out: Tokyo X-Pro

I like this.

Chuck, I took a look at your other work and see you have a number of these slow shutter speed with flash shots. I'm a particular fan of this technique, and when it works, as it does in your case, it is very effective. Excellent stuff. Keep on experimenting!

Very effective! Well done!

I am rarely inspired to leave a comment, but I like this a lot. Simple but very effective. As a fan of MF, I'd be interested to know what camera.

Wonderful feel-good shot!

This isn't photgraphy. It's computer trickery. I suggest you shoot more and spend less time messing with software silliness.

Is this a print made from a negative made from a digital image?

Makes me want to give up photography for good.

This is a cool one. I like the tones and the three distinctive distances. However, I would suggest you "cut along the dotted line."

One of a series, shot in 2002 in Sikkim.

Yann,
This one caught my eye, and I took a look at your blog as well. In this one, it would have been better if you'd had pedestrians walking towards you rather than away, maybe catching a face in the crowd that was very different and offset the pretty smiling poster face. Let's face it, this is simply a photo of a billboard. The billboard is not going to go away, so you could have taken loads of shots (I see you're shooting digital). On your blog, I prefer the few colour ones. "A commuter's trip" is superb! I also like the b/w hair salon one. Anyway, I think it's a great start. You should check out the Street & Doc forum on this site for oppotunities to post among likeminded shooters.
Best regards (this is by far the longest comment I ever left in this forum!)

The Leica forum is open to anyone shooting with a Leica/Rangefinder.

Nice colours and lighting, but it's a pity about that building immediately behind the dome. Is another angle not possible? I'm guessing that this is Malaysia...

Are you a lamp? Or a picture?

I half expect Godzilla to appear to do city-stomping battle with this giant feline.

I like it! Give me anything but the ordinary. However, I insist on hand-colouring photographs.
