  1. I'm intrigued... where does the track go, and where did it used to go over your right shoulder? It's a great visual metaphor for the past being gone behind us and no longer reachable, but the futures still offering options and change, as indicated by the turnout up ahead. Which way is it thrown? Which way will you go?

Nice image. I'm not usually dragged into such a philosophical space just by looking at a photograph. :D

The question in the viewer's mind with those ambiguous half-open double doors is, did she just *open* the doors, inviting (or perhaps, given the intensity of her expression, DARING) the viewer to come in, or is she just about to reach out and *close* the doors, saying in effect, "Tough luck, Chuckles!" ?

That's very well done.  It looks almost like it's a watercolor more than a photograph.  Very deft touch with the light and focus.

  2. Look at that!  It's a PushMe-PullYou!   I like that the statue seems to be rather put off at the oddball vehicle.  Nice composition.  The way the colors worked out it almost looks like a colorized b&w.

  3. Ok, I'm confused. You called this a self-portrait. How'd you do it? Shoot into a mirror and then flip it in Photoshop, or did you have a second camera on a tripod in front of you, either with a selftimer or a remote in the palm of your hand?
