andrzejp 7 Posted December 11, 2010 Wonderful pose, perfectly positioned in the frame. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 13, 2010 Theo,Nathalie is a pretty girl. I like the pose. She is so nice and slim that posing her straight on to the camera doesn't add a lot of unwanted weight. I think it also makes her appear a bit tartish. I am assuming that you were after this effect. It is kind of grainy, but I grew up with film and don't mind grain. I like her expression. It looks like she is going to pull out a whip any second. It doesn't appear that her eyes are in critical focus. They could be a little sharper. She could use a bit more light, especially on her eyes. Catchlights would have given a little life to her eyes. She doesn't have detail in her hair, panties or stockings. The composition isn't bad, but she is a vertical subject shot in a horizontal format. There isn't anything next to her that adds anything to the portrait. You may as well move in closer and use a vertical format.I cropped to a vertical format, lightened the image and added a tad of contrast.Nice shot,Mark Link to comment
theokeijzers 0 Posted December 13, 2010 Mark thanks for looking. I miss the framing in your crop, that's one of the things i like in this picture. Looking trough doors is essential for me. Each its own. Link to comment
peternientied 0 Posted December 19, 2010 Very good - the crop does not work for me, the context is essential. Link to comment

mrz80 14 Posted November 4, 2015 The question in the viewer's mind with those ambiguous half-open double doors is, did she just *open* the doors, inviting (or perhaps, given the intensity of her expression, DARING) the viewer to come in, or is she just about to reach out and *close* the doors, saying in effect, "Tough luck, Chuckles!" ? human images 4 Posted November 5, 2015 I remember this picture from four years back and am glad I get to see to see it again. I liked it then and I like it now. I prefer the frame as you show it Theo, although Mark makes a valid point about bringing your killer model a bit more light and contrast. I don’t buy into the extent he sees it, and I don’t buy the crop he offers, but I agree on a tad more light than what you gave her. Your framing and background is just right and moody and your model an inviting, a little defiant, spectacular sexy young woman with a most compelling attitude for good measure, but yes, you could add to the riches by contrasting things a bit, by lighting her some; making her skin contrast the undergarments would glow her richer still! Anyway, everyone has a goddamn opinion. Cheers. Link to comment
