    Harbor Light

          1

It's a rare occasion where I find myself overlooking a spectacular

sunset with my camera gear in hand. On this particular evening,

everything fell into place. I quickly set up my tripod and captured a

few shots before the colors began to fade. Let me know what you think

    and where I could improve.

  1. This little frog was captured at a pond I frequently visit in a nearby

state park. Most of the sun-bathing creatures shyly leap into the

duckweed as I approach, but there's always at least one who doesn't

    mind getting its picture taken.

It was nearing the end of a week-long backpacking trip along the

shores of Door County. Due to rain almost all week, I had no ambition

to wake up early to photograph the rising sun. Fortunately, the clouds

had broken the evening before, and I was able to capture some

incredible shots of the sunset. This was just what I needed to get

myself out of my tent into the cool morning and capture this sunrise.

    Beach Beauty

Although this cool, cloudy day wasn't ideal beach weather, the clouds

gave me a detailed sky to work with other than the normal blue skies I

usually experience when I visit these shores. My friend, Taylor, was

out playing in the waves as I ventured off to find unique shooting

points, such as this log stretching towards the water. Please, let me

    what you think!

this is a very beautiful scene! I would have loved to see more to the left however, as my eye is pulled in by all the light. but that does not take away from the great composition and vast landscape. I live for views like these. well done, Zsolt!

  2. On a backpacking trip I took earlier this month, I set up camp along

the eastern shore on a peninsula, surrounded by views like this. As I

was hiking towards the point to acquire a better view of the sunset, I

stopped to capture this alluring light the low sun cast upon the

shoreline reeds. Let me know what you think, thanks!!

    Twilight

About an hour after sunset, I set off into some dark trails with my

camera and tripod ready to experiment with long exposures. Unsure of

what to expect, I ended up capturing this shot. What do you think? Thanks!
