August 21, 2017. The Great American Eclipse. Glendo State Park, Wyoming. This is a composite of 20 images taken with a solar filter, followed by a single image taken with the solar filter removed. The camera was mounted on a tripod and was not moved during this sequence. So, this sequence shows the natural movement of the sun and moon through the sky on that day. A jet and its contrail have photo-bombed the final image. -
A composite of 21 photos. Camera on tripod was not moved, so this reflects the natural movement of the sun and moon through the sky.
