whoa i am new to this and so did not wish for any fights to occur. as i said i am looking at ways to reduce my own use of chemicals as much as possible and thought that a natural substance such as vinegar or better still water would do just that.
so thanks for the info and i do appreciate it al, but please no fighting over it as i am sure you all agree that photography can be technical and subjective

Thankyou everyone, I do appreciate the time you have taken to answer my question. I am trying to reduce the amount of chemicals that I use...hence the question.
Thanks once again I really value this site

hi
i have been using vinegar as a stop bath for my prints and am wondering if i
can use the same for my film developing? if so can i reuse it several times or
should i only use it once? i would use fresh vinegar, not stuff from printing/.
also, how do i know when the vinegar is exhausted for photo printing?
thanks

Actually I would like to know what the water saving method is.
I have developed film at uni but not done it at home due to being on limited water supply.
Could someone please expand a bit on water saving methods
many thanks

AF trouble
in Pentax
Can you revert to manual focus?
I have a MZ 50 and sometimes find it better with manual than auto, especially if what you are trying to focus on is hard for the lens to get, say a cluttered area or a fast moving object.

Actually can I ask a question that I hope does not sound too dumb?
Can you get a coenversion mount that will enable a lens for say a Nikon camera to be 100% usable on a Pentax camera?
I'm thinking along the lines of Pentax KAF fittings.
Many thanks

thanks for this everybody, the lens on Amazon looked great but upon checking, it does not look like they will post to Australia.
I will keep looking though

I have a Pentax Mz50 and want to buy a suitable 50mm lens that I can
use with it, without spending a fortune.
What type can I use with it, even if it is only on a manual mode?

i also use old senses...if it smells bad then it probably is not too good for you
