".. to see if it works"
Now you're just asking too much.

Great work. Contents, aesthetics and composition.

Seems high, I know the 2 cam version sells for under $200.

I like #2. Keep trying different lightsources with this, you might get Purple Haze. (groan)

Really cool. You've managed to make a cat show look even more bizarre than usual.

The Voigtlander lenses will almost all be sharper and more contrasty than their screw mount Leica counterparts. Of course whether they are better or not is subjective. Many people here prefer the older lenses (some uncoated) for their contrast and resolving characteristics. I would suggest trying some of the older Leica lenses, such as the 9CM and 50mm Elmar lenses in screwmount, both can be had for very little money and after being professionally cleaned will perform admirably.

A film about Raoul Wallenberg was made way before Spielberg made Schindler's list. I've seen both. The movie about Wallenberg is excellent, and I recommend it. The comment wasn't intended to be disrespectful, lighten up.

Yeah, but Raoul didn't have the Leica glow.

Great. Thank you for the link.

They're awesome, I highly recommend it.

Eliot,
Just by you saying "leftist" you're stating how you feel. It's fine for you to let people know, but not for me to do likewise. Every positive thing that's ever happened in this country is due to us "Leftists" thank god this country was started by leftists. Have fun taking pride in your facist views, where you're free to speak but put down others when they do.

As a smart American, I figured it out before the 2000 election. As a patriotic American whose family has sacrificed for this country since the Revolution, I'm hurt that anyone would continue to defend either George Bush or their decision to vote for him. But none of that has anything to do with a lens or it's performance.

I should clarify, my post was in response to the disagreement of shots containing nudity.

They're nothing more than striking, well composed images with good content. That is, until they're of your kids.

Highest percentage isopropyl alochol you can find. I use 99% from the local drug store. Won't damage anything, and it evaporates in seconds.

Or maybe it was Martin Tai.

I'm always amazed at the cameras that Essex Camera service of NJ ( essexcamera.com ) can find parts for. So far they've only turned down about 2 out of several hundred. I would give them a call, it's worth a shot.

The photos certainly have interesting content. (At least those from the Temple site). It never ceases to amaze me how such a benign thread can spiral into name calling so quickly. Now all we need is for someone to suggest she was a "Leica Photographer" ;- )

I like #2 due to the onlookers.

You won't make more money anywhere other than ebay. Easiest is to sell to a dealer, but expect 40 to 70% of what you'd get if you went through the hassle of selling it yourself on Ebay.

$500 to spend on a 50mm Summicron. Which one?
