  1. <p>I stil use for film the beloved EOS 650 and the EOS A2E (the vg-10 grip for EOS A2E does not support batteries). I think the rechargeable 2CR5 batteries are a good choice for <strong>long exposures and for cold temperatures</strong>. As far as I know Li-Ion rechargeable batteries don't have any problem discharging in use at cold temperatures and when you shoot in winter you don't want to waste a fresh 2CR5 battery in one day as I did once, it is better to have two good rechargeable batteries at you. By the other hand the EOS 650 and the A2E at very long exposures eat the battery (for example when you do astrophoto and you have very long exposures). I think the EOS 650 drains your battery faster, like almost early EOS cameras, although Canon specifies that the camera uses relatively little power in bulb mode. I use from Power 3000 the rechargeable 2CR5 Li-ion - FR5B.03 (500mAh) and the charger ACFR45E-5. Best regards. Leontin. </p>
