Hi there,

I have just realised that someone has a url address that is very similar to

mine:

theirs: www.photo.net/photos/schmoo

I would of been happy to change mine (if possible) but this morning I have

just ordered some cards with the address on it. Can I ask them to change their

address slightly?

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi Paul,

It is funny that you posted this, because today I was going to post a similar question, which would have been my first post also.

So I am a complete novice when it comes to street photography but it is something I would like to develop - people are interesting and I think we all have a little bit of the voyeur in us. The problem for me is confidence, when I am out taking photos I always feel like people are looking at ME and wondering why I am taking a photo of a wall or drain!

When I am shooting people though, I tend to sit in an environment for at least 10 minutes before I even take a photo, this some how helps me feel less like I am intruding. When people see me I just smile at them and try to look approachable and not like a stalker! I have not had any one question me directly yet but I think I would just be honest about what I am doing and offer to email them the photo or even just delete it if they were upset.
