Hi, I`m looking for IR filter for my Canon 24-70mm F2.8 L lens (77mm). Could not find it localy.
Checked with B&H in New York and they don`t seem to have it either. Does anyone know where I can

I don`t like the fact that the ratings are anonymous. Can something be done about that?

How come so many rich and famous lose everything. Is it their smart lawyers who run away with it all?

There is definitely quality differences in the aplication of the technique, but for the most part it looks like something from the 1950`s or `60`s.

Usually it looks like something from the 1960 or `70s, when this technique has been applied to an image.

The "Masters of Photography" is not a good site. By the way, I was thinking more of good professional photographers working today, whom we all could learn a great deal from.

I think it would be a good idea to profile famous photographers here on Photo.net and show some portfolio examples at the same time. What do you think?

Somebody mentioned Marrakech. It is an exotic location but people can be very hostile there.
Try Bangkok or some other big city in South East Asia.
I am going to Paris this summer. Have been there before and enjoyed it - without a camera.
Can anyone recomend sertain areas in Paris worth checking out with a camera?

I do not cover up logos. I think the size of the camera is what a potential robber would look for. Once I was shooting on Coney Island with my Pentax 67 and a big lens shade - that caused some interest from local thugs. Fortunately I had a tripod with me and used it as a bat. Another time I was shooting in Times Square, and a black crack head wanted my stuff. I got away from that situation also without losing anything.

With my EOS 5D came a too short strap, wich is uncomfortable with heavy L lenses. I would like a strap where I can have the camera hanging down by my belt bucle. So far I havent been able to find a longer strap. Info on dealer anyone?
