This is a very fine environmental portrait. It is very well exposed - given the extreme contast in the scene. I like the cropping - it is similar to the type of full-frame work I do with my square-format Rolleiflex. Jan, keep up the good work.

Although the subject matter probably is of interest only to the Audubon Society, I find the subtle gradations in the gull's breast to be exquisitely exposed. Great exposure!

About as good a candid of any children you are likely to see. Children's expressions are not "forced" and the colors are subtle and delicate. As you can tell, I like it!
