This is a very good scenic photo: well composed, nice sense of depth & atmospheric recession, good color and a good sense of scale. I like it. You have a good "eye" for this type of photography.

The B+W version has spectacular tonalities.

Excuse me for being so picky, but this is flora, not fauna. It is very beautiful, anyway.

Antonio: why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel?

Interesting juxtaposition.

This beautiful image shows, once again, that film is still supreme. After the constant
hyping of digital cameras and digital photography, it is pleasing to know that film cameras
and old-fashioned photographic film still can deliver the goods. Of course this image had
to be digitized before it could make its appearance here, but that does not detract from
where it had its origins.

Exquisite tonalities. Satisfies a criterion I often apply to a photo of this type: "Does it invite you to be there?"

In ancient Rome, the Romans managed to keep the barbarians outside the gates for quite a few centuries. We obviously have not.

Actually Lars, without regard to the technical merits of the photo (which are pretty good) this picture is disgusting. Sorry, I was compelled to make a value judgment in this case.

I am not into ballet. Just the same, it is plain to me that you have a very special vision. Please keep doing this work because I have a feeling that it will have special meaning as a body of work that is not evident from a single frame.

I probably do 70% of my outdoor work in similar lighting. One reason is the lousy weather in the region where I live. Another reason is I do not especially like high-contrast photos. So, I don't think the lighting spoiled this photo. I actually like this photo.

Good bokeh. How else would you expect a Leicaphile to respond?

The most appealing feature of this photo is the wonderful depth that you have achieved. The atmospheric haze helps the mountain to recede into the distance and further enhances the depth. Nice work!

Since I love dogs, I love this picture. I truly believe that dogs have souls - truer and
kinder souls than most human beings. The dog in this photo clearly is a noble being
and that is wonderfully captured.

John: I think you've committed a major boo-boo here. The shot is a decent postcard photo. Why ruin it with defacement?

I almost always go there for a weekend every autumn. Didn't make it this year. This photo makes me feel that I made the trip after all. Thanks.

...and a dangerous one.
