I couldn't disagree more with the previous comment. This photo is amazing in many respects. 7's!

Extremely cool shot. I really like the sky and sense of depth. I'd be curious to learn how you achieved the effect. Very interesting lighting.

Reminded me of the Hitchcock movie. Taken before sunset to capture
the light below the wings. Shutter priority mode. More at

I met this man while roaming the beach in search of photos. Like
myself, he was up at 5am to take in the view. We sat and enjoyed
the sunrise together.

Fantastic shot! Great color, sharpness, and DOF. Enjoy the new camera and keep them coming!

I really like this image. What a face! This is approaching a digital painting. I think I would have left a little more detail above the brows. Also, try leaving some sharpness in those sad eyes to make them pop. Great photo. I visited your portfolio a long time ago and again just now. Keep them coming!

One of my favorites out of over 100 that day. She was walking away
to reposition for a pose and this image caught my eye. I called her
back and made her walk away again to get the shot. I also did a BW
conversion and left the dress red (cliche, but I wanted to try it).
Comments are welcome!

One of my favorite portraits. I'm looking for ways to improve this
image. I desaturated the red channel slightly to offset the effects
of the warming filter used. Version 2 in my portrait folder was
cooled in photoshop. Looking for opinions...

I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite from such a rich portfolio, but this is up there. Thank you for the inspiration, Donna.
