  1. I believe your correct. After a little research I find this to be the Immature Cooper's Hawk, based on the following:

     

    Immature:

     

    * Yellow eye

    * Brown head with indistinct pale supercilium

    * Brown cap, nape, back, and upperwings

    * White underparts marked by thin black streaks, concentrated on chest

    * Tail, brown above and pale below, barred with dark bands

    * White terminal band

     

    I'd now say this is the female because of the large size. Thanks for your input, and comments. (I'll try a tighter crop, Thanks, again...Mike)
