  1. thanks for the answers so far.

    just a few comments.

I'm fully aware that interior photography should not be done fast and cheap. That it can take up to one day to prepare the interior.

However i'll mostly be shooting projects for magazines.

so when i'll walk into a new bar/club/restaurant, and see if it's possible to take make an appointment to shoot photos. they'll not give me a day. 1-2 hours max. so the images just need to capture it quick.

material cost will be about 4-5 times higher if I shoot 4x5.

the magazine will accept medium format.

I could do with the equipment i have so far, but i would like to have some straight vertical images (without psd). so that's why i'm looking for a camera with shift options.

    thanks,

  2. Hey,

I've been looking around for a camera for architecture shots.

    70% interiour/ 30% exteriour. of modern architecture/design.

    Mostly clubs/bars/restaurants/musea/offices.

Well so far almost all cameras are still in the race.

so we got to loose some.

Most of this will be on a freelance base, so I would like to be able

to work FAST, say i'll be able to shoot an interiour for 1 hour, and

    cheap as well.

    so I'll mostly use rollfilm.

My personal preference is still the hasselblad arcbody 45mm kit.

already own back and polaroidback. but the 4700,- is too much.

and you CAN'T find them secondhand.

    My budget is $ 3000,-

4"x5" film would be too expensive to shoot (for now offcourse).

but a rollfilmback on a 4x5 is possible, so that's why i'm asking

here to see what more options there are.

Right now my eye is on the Cambo wide Ds 47mm kit $2800,-.

this seems very portable and fast. shooting 6x7

    (would make the 47mm a 28mm in 35mm)or 6x9 (would make the 47mm a

20mm in 35mm) (landscape and panorama )would still give me the most

shift the body can handle (40mm) so almost half the image height.

rollfilm and polaroidback can be found easily second hand.

There are more lenses availble then for the arcbody, and they're

cheaper too. and I can even shoot 4x5 if i want to.

and it's still a compact camera.

but i think it would need the ++$$ centerfilter, does it?

    even when shooting 6x9?

I know that i can by a good well assorted secondhand monorail set-up,

which would give me MUCH MORE options for the same money.

I don't need to shoot all shots with this set-up. just a few

eyecatchers. details and other interiour shots i can shoot in 35mm

    and 6x6 (80mm lens).

So the 1 lens will do in the beginning.

what are your opinions? experiences with this set-up? other

    suggestions.

    let me know.

    thanks,

  3. hey,

at the moment i'm looking into buying a LF camera.

i found a second hand arca swiss including a

Linhof Technika Agnulon 90 mm 6.8 for $400,-

almost all reviews on the arca swiss line look good.

however the seller doesn't know which model it is.

can anybody tell from this photo?

would it be hard to find accesoires for it like pola back and

    rollfilm back?

    thanks,<div>003yX5-10074484.jpg.bf422bf4f7681dda46df041b1a1b5b4f.jpg</div>

  4. Hey,

    I´ve got a question about - i don´t know what they´re called -.

    So that´s why i´m asking.

I´ve got a hasselblad 500cm with the 80mm chrome lens.

Now i would like to be able to focus closer as the 90cm. Í don´t want

macro photography, but just be able to focus at 50cm. ( and still

have some DOF if possible ).

Is this possible, do these things exist? what are they called?

    thanks,
