It's nice to see an image that breaks the traditional mold of boring fashion and portrait shots that have become the norm on this site. This is stunning in execution and concept. Bravo

No real critique as i love this image, just an observation i think would have improved it. IMHO it would have been nice to include her complete face and head into the shot. IMHO if you are going to cut the head then either cut it all off or cut it just below the nose. Other than that its great. Well done

Beautiful model, good pose, good lighting, sharp , well exposed, but i am slightly distracted by the background which takes away the focus from the object of the picture, (the beautiful model and her pensive stance). What I would say, is that when you are shooting portraits pay special attention to the background, as it can make or break the shot. Overall good idea.

I love the way that the red flowers are arranged in an arc which is very similar to the arc formed by the line of the young ladies fingers to her head. Well done
  1. Nice, I would have loved it more if the monk in the background was removed so that the viewer would be drawn to focus on the young monk (the central figure). The expression and body posture of the yooung monk are engaging but made less dramatic by the elements in the background.

Wonderful colours and sharpness. However my focus is continually drawn to the mound on the right in the background, rather than to the remains of the ship in the foreground. Unfortunatley I don't have any strong suggestions about how to fix this whilst still keeping the expanse of the shot.
