aangus 0 Posted May 10, 2006 This was taken in B&W, I added the colours and blurred the b/ground under the arch. Cutting off her feet was not clever I know! There are 3 or 4 favourite pictures of my daughter, this is one of them. Link to comment
dancingdove 0 Posted May 10, 2006 I think it is a lovely photo of a lovely girl. Suggestions? Perhaps taken from a different angle to prevent the blown out highlights of the sunlight? And yes, her feet... Sweet. d.d. Link to comment
timages 0 Posted May 10, 2006 Interesting Image, looks a touch Sureal/dreamlike. Good though. I would agree with D.D. about trying another viewpoint. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 10, 2006 You have a wonderful bambina. The place is great too. If I were you, I would repeat the shot taking these considerations: 1. Reframe excluding the door at the left, and giving more importance to the archs. 2. Also get more of the floor under your daughter's feet. 3. I would wait for a more cloudy day , so there is no high contrasts with the sunlight. The picture here seems burned out. 4. I would open the lens a couple of F stops, so I can get narrower Deepth of field, and a naturally blurred background at the end of the street. 5. Perhaps would add a flash with reduced power so I can get the subject -your bambina- a little bit brighter than the rest. Regards. Tank care and wnjoy your beautiful country in the name of the rest of us. Ruben Link to comment
hughw 0 Posted May 11, 2006 I love the mood, but would have used levels in PS to add a bit more depth tothe shardows and midtones therefore increasing the intensity of the mood, Great composition Link to comment
