<p>I just returned to frigid Minnesota from a week in Cocoa Beach, FL. We touristed the quaint town of Cocoa and browsed an antique shop, where I found some leather lens cases with prices ranging from $5 to $25. One was really heavy and said "85mm 1.5 Canon lens." Inside I found a pristine lens, shown below. Also, for $5 and $7, were a Nikkor 43 - 86 3.5 and a 55mm Micro Nikkor, both non-AI'd, both nearly perfect. I paid my $37 and drooled on the counter while they were being bagged up for me.<br>
I don't have bodies to shoot any of these lenses and am looking for recommendations which will fit my pre-retirement budget, particularly the 85 Canon, which is a screw-thread mount, likely from the 1950s or 1960s. I'm assuming the Canon is a RF lens, but am clueless on what bodies it will fit and what is affordable and reliable. Any thoughts are appreciated and I'm excited to get out and use this glass.</p><div></div>
