Thanks Lihn. Just one problem with my presentation. Don't know where my head was when I named this flower. but it's an Iris, not a lilac. Sorry 'bout that.

    little worried.

Like all of us who wonder what's going in our world, he (or she) seems to be frustrated by the fact that unfortunately there's little they can do about it. Excellent capture. Regards, Bill

  1. Great! I love it. I'm guessing your subject has not had an easy life, but the fact that he can still wear a big smile should be a lesson for anyone who falls into the trap of self pity. Regards, Bill

  2. Beautiful image Jim. I definitely recommend that this be viewed larger in order to appreciate the layered effect from foreground, to mid-ground, to background that that give the photo a 3-D like quality. Regards, Bill

  3. Graeme, good to hear from. Hope the family's well. Yeah, don't know how long it takes for old pros like Chad that have been sitting it out for a while to get it back in the groove but he looked good in the heat and I hope he can give these young dudes something to think about in the next race. My guess is that he will, but time will tell. Regards, Bill

Simon, couldn't agree with you more. Exactly my conclusion about this image. If you check my portfolio you'll see the original in color with just a bit of post processing. When you experiment sometimes you find a gem, but mostly you don't. But either way you learn something useful. Regards, Bill

Makes me feel like I'm rubber necking a tragic accident Bob. I don't want to see it, but compelled to do so. Whomever first said "a picture is worth a thousand words" surely had images like this in mind. Bill
