Love Birds, arguably, one of the most beautiful birds in east Africa. They a

difficult to photograph because they are very shy and would not tolerate the

approach of vehicles except when they are in their nest, usually an old, dead

tree. I was lucky to photograph several members in this tree in Feb. of 2004,

but in subsequent trips to the same area, I have seen them many times, only

to fly away as soon as we try to aproach them.

I am a new member in Photonet. I was recently exposed to some of the work

of some members and was extremely impressed with the overall quality of

what I saw.

I am passionate about Nature/Wildlife Photography and was very impressed

in particular with the work of Marina Cano.

This made encouraged me to become a member of your site and start sharing

and learning from the talent and experience that many of you have.

I am looking forward to the interactions.....

I will be posting several other images in the following few weeks as time

permit, but for now, I will post just two and will ask for your critiques and
