Thank you Lynn!

You have a lovely portfolio Greg, but this image really caught my eye. The composition has a very attractive, simplistic balance, palette and texture. To quote Steve Jobs, "“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Gary

Maybe "architecture" isn't the proper category for this image.
Basically it is an image about color. My favorite combination of
colors are white with blue and green. Hopefully this image brings
together that trinity of colors in the context of a pleasant
architectural detail and an inviting tropical sky. Any thoughts,
comments and reactions are welcome and appreciated. Thank you my P.N.
friends.

This is a lovely image Agnes. My only "negative" comment is that, that portion of the neck at 10:00 o'clock is more blurred than other parts of the body on a more distal plane.

Congratulations Jeff, on another outstanding image to add to your already outstanding portfolio.

I would say that you achieved you goal. Nice work Dave. The only thing I might suggest would be to blur some of the background. The people behind the truck are a little distracting. BTW, I love that rear tire....I need that on the minivan!

I love it! It makes me smile.

Very simple and straightforward, natural light, very minimal post
processing. I don't honestly know if I like this shot because I like
the shot or because it is a shot of my daughter sleeping.

Great shot! I love the dramatic perspective, and the lighting and clouds are perfect. It reminds me of some early romantic paintings and / or a Cecil B. DeMille movie scene with Moses.

Very very nice. I particularly enjoy the lighting and the color. It reminds me of an old submission of mine.

You are right Stephen; this is VERY heavily processed and I should have mentioned that in my narrative but failed to do so. I was going for a 1960's Florida postcard look here....overly saturated with cartoon-like colors, flat lighting and grainy. In the original shot the sea and sky met in a gray drab blob. Ho-hum. The Photoshopped overdosed version seen here added some zest. Thank you for taking the time to comment on my trifle.

I really like this scene for its tone and lighting. The only thing that I might consider changing is the corp. I feel like some of the wall on the left is redundant. Choosing a different crop is difficult because one hates to delete fine architectural details like the arches. I'm attaching an altered version; one with a slightly tighter crop. I hope you like it. Cheers, Gary

Yes, going strictly by the rules, I have to agree with the above comment but from my heart all I can say is; Daniel, this photograph is a treasure. Fantastic capture; fantastic B&W processing. I love the details in the face. Your entire portfolio is outstanding but this image reaches out and demands attention. Congratulations!

Thank you Daniel, you just made my day.

Nice lighting. Great perspective. Great shutter speed. Absolutely perfect timeing. Congratulations! PS. I hope the guy wasn't hurt.

Nicely composed (I always enjoy a diagonal element in a photo). Good color and lighting, nice and sharp, perfect DOF. Why is it that when I always try for this shot the wind blows?! Congratulations on a lovely image. cheers
