I was wandering around the monument at Bunker Hill in Boston, looking for

an interesting perspective to shoot from. I noticed how dramatic the clouds

were and so got down on the ground to frame the statue against the shifting

shapes of the clouds. I chose this one based on the way the clouds line up

around the statue (specifically how the sliver of light frames his hand).

Feedback welcome.

Great shot!  I love the dramatic perspective, and the lighting and clouds are perfect.  It reminds me of some early romantic paintings and / or a Cecil B. DeMille movie scene with Moses.

Great shot - I too am fascinated by photographing different perspectives of statues. I would also love to see this shot in B&W printed on metallic paper. I think the reflection on the statue's arm would jump off the page. Well done! Jeff
