Sorry, too large. plus that was the one I tried to fix.

Thanks David. It's actually a buddy of mine Mike's lens. He will be contacting you.

Where is a good place to send a Hasselblad lens to be repaired? No shops where
I live can fix mine. Thanks.

I've tried CS2 and PhotoStudio. I did a batch rename and they already had a .cr2 extension at the end. They are all some of the last images I shot on the card before formatting. I still can't get just those 20 to read.
-
I recently had to use Lexar Photo Rescue to recover some images of a CF card
that I accidentally formatted. The program found about 250 images but there
are about 20 of them that show as a Canon CR2 RAW file but aren't recognized
by Adobe DNG converter. I can't open them in PS CS2 or Canon's PhotoStudio.
Any idea how I can open these files? A couple of them are important.
-
Well I finally got the images recovered. Turns out that for some reason my XP firewall had something to do with it. I turned the firewall off and I had no more problems. Kinda strange since I started having problems transferring files from my cards a few weeks ago and hadn't changed anything.

OK, so I'm a dummy and I accidentally erased a 2BG card during a wedding. I
was checking to see how much space I had left and accidentally formatted the
card. I put it up to use the Lexar image recovery software once I got home.
Now when I'm trying to recover the files I finds 1 or 2 then says "The
semaphore timeout period has expired". What does this mean and what do I need
to do? I also noticed that the couple of images I recovered don't see to be
woring properly. I tried converting them with Adobe DNG converter and it says
there are no supported files there.

Anyone ever used canvasondemand.com? I got an email from the a few days ago
and they do gallery wraps for a pretty good price. Just wondering what their
service and product quality was like.

Maybe it's just something I've never noticed but if you have the preview checked then the actual photo changes with the changes you make to the sliders. After clicking OK, the filter goes through the progress and then once it's done the image seems to soften up and not be as sharp as it was. I did notice that if I do 500% sharpening then I can see a little difference when switching back and forth in history when zoomed in. Maybe I just never noticed it changing like that.
-
I'm working on a few pictures and doing a little sharpening using the smart
sharpen filter. When I adjust the levels of sharpness everything looks great
but them after the sharpening takes place the image goes right back to how it
was before. I can't any difference in the image when I step back one spot in
history or look at the current. The image stays sharp right until the progress
bars get to the end and the sharpening is supposed to be complete. Why is it
doing this?

I wanted to hear people steps for creating a nice vignette on their photos.
I'm not looking for anything colored and going to white but rather just
darkening around the edges leaving a center point of attention. I've tried
burning and it just didn't look right (too much like just going black) and
have tried a vignette mask action I found on a website and can't really get
the look I'm going for. I'm looking for something like this shot posted.<div></div>

Well the groom called last night and told my wife to get me to call. I called back today on his cell and it rang for a while then hung up on me. I then called the bride and got her voicemail. I simply stated that it seemed there must be some form of communication breakdown and things weren't working out and regretably I had to take another job on that day.

I had a couple come in about 1 1/2 - 2 months ago about doing their wedding.
They said they would get back with me in a few days and would probably be
using me. Well I didn't hear from them for a few weeks and finally he called
and said they were going with me and would be returning the contract with
deposit. I again never saw or heard anything for a couple of weeks. Then this
past Saturday she calls and says the want to come over and sign the contract
and pay me in full on Sunday. I tell her that is fine but to call before
coming. I get home Sunday about 1pm and there is a message on my machine from
11am saying that she is at my house but I'm not home, please call. I call back
and leave a message. He finally calls today about 8pm. The one thing I haven't
mentioned is that the wedding is Oct. 21...less than 2 weeks away. This couple
has been nothing but excuse after excuse. I think tomorrow I'm gonna call back
and just tell them sorry but I can't do it and I have planned something else.
What would you guys do in this situation?

Can anyone direct me to a site that has classic newborn photos. I'm looking
for pretty simple photos kinda like on footprintsphotography.com . Thanks

Yes Larry, I do process all my own B&W film. I've just never used 120 IR. I've used 35mm and have always been told to load in the dark and keep in it's plastic case after use but the 120 film I bought didn't come with a case.
-
What am I supposed to do with my 120 IR film after shooting with it until I
process it? I just got some Rollie and it doesn't come with a little black,
plastic case like some do. I'd hate to have it fog while waiting to be
processed.

I have read a lot of people that seem to use HC110 at a 1:45 ratio. I'm trying
to come up with a starting time for development. I current use a lot of TMax
100 but have started using some Ilford films. The only development times I can
find on any charts is for dilution A and B. Why aren't the other dilutions on
the charts? I've seen a few people say develop the 1:45 for about 4:30, but
according to the chart @ 68* you should develop for 6 minutes for dilution B.
Since 1:45 is a weaker dilution, shouldn't the development time be longer?

The blacks look much richer in the original. Are you using a multigrade filter when printing? I have found that a filter usually isn't needed when printing through Pictorico White Film.
