I absolutely love the severely angled crop. I do that frequently myself. An otherwise documentary photo becomes art.

Very nice. I would like to see another with the same height in landscape with an expanse off in the direction the child is looking

I would love to see another one where the left edge of the crop is right if front of the couple. Begging the question - what are they walking into. We would see where they have been but not what are they walking into. In this one we see where they are going but not where they have been.

I like it. I would probably love it if the mountains were cropped out. The bottom right 2/3 is where I see the best composition. Use the scroll bar at the right to crop off the top half of the mountains and imagine the left 1/3 cropped off. Doing so creates more mystery and unanswered questions.

I like everything except the (shadow from his tie?)

I love it but I sense that the horizon is tilted to the right. Which does not set well with me.

I would copy the background gold color and use it to replace the back ground green via the clone tool. The green distracts from your awesome forground

Try a "lighten shadows" in photoshop and then try to saturate the colors via increase contrast or ? I think this is a great crop but needs pop and sizzle. Somehow get the bland shadows to pop and sizzle. Postorize?

I like it but I don't. I see a staged photo. I see her head clashing with some horizontal thing. I think the concept is promising but it is not yet there for my taste. The verticals are also not vertical. Making them plumb would also help. Others may not notice these. I guess it is individual taste.

I like it. I would probably love it if the vertical lines were made to be vertical. Camera correction in Photoshop elements 5.0 would do it. Image align etc. I might get rid of that splotch left center or move it to look like coming out of the more foreground vertical just in front of the "smoke stack" it is coming out of.

If it was not quite such a 45ish degree angle I might entertain thoughts that I'm looking through glass at rain. This would lead to many more mental gymnastics. Is it glass? Dirty glass? Frosted glass? Is it rain? Is it a fake? Right now I immediately conclude a fake and move on.

Interesting but confusing. I would software process out the brown horizon, tilt the post line to be horizontal and thus get rid of the confusion.

Very nice but disturbing somewhat. The horizon does not sit well. Perhaps leveling it would improve the imparted emotional impact. Sometimes I deliberately tilt the horizon for good effect but here I don't like the tilt.

I like just about everything about it. But the chicken wire then ruins it. If it were mine I would spend the time in Photoshop getting rid of the chicken wire.
