Thanks Kirt. This is my favorite angle for baseball/softball. It's really hard at this field because the fence is bright silver and the games are always just before sunset. The sun really hits that silver and sometimes it shows up. This was my first season shooting sports. I'm really looking forward to this season!

I do see one hot pixel now that I look harder. The white dots are stars. The pixel I see is on the lower part around the name. Thanks for the comments.

Hey Mike. I just discovered yesterday that my monitor is way out of calibration. The colors that I am seeing are not what everyone else is seeing. I will get this fixed and maybe this shot will look better.

I haven't done landscape stuff in a while. I had so much fun shooting at

this lake this morning. I wish that I had used a split ND filter here. I had

it with me but just didn't use it. I blew out some of the top portion. This

lake is close to my home so I will go back for sure. Also I wish that I

had a better WA lens. this is the 18-55 kit from my old rebel. I sold my

good stuff to fund my 40D and 70-200 f/2.8 when I started shooting

sports.

I got lucky on this on. Any comments are welcome to help me improve.

This is nice Will. I do have to say one thing though that may upset you and some others. I'm not seeing anything special about the 1ds3. I haven't seen one single picture from the ds3 that the 5d couldn't make, but I am viewing online shots and not prints. That may, and probably does, make a difference. I'm sure the prints look better from the added resolution. I like the color of the 5d much better. I noticed a huge difference with Marc Adamus' pictures. Since he started using he 1ds3 I haven't liked anything from him, and that's saying alot because I would list him as my favorite photographer in the world. What is yor opinion Will? You have used both and have seen the prints. Is the 1Ds3 really that much better than the 5D based on IQ alone? I'm not seeing it. It also makes me want a 5D that much more. I can't believe how great that camera is and I still don't have one. Take care buddy.

Nasty looking insect. These things are everywhere! This was taken with

an 85mm lens with a close up filter.

This is my chubby cheeked 1 year old daughter. I was snapping away

when she decided to throw a fit and throw her head back, I just kept

shooting. The background is grey with a strobe with a 20 degree spot

and a red gel. Main light is an octabox and I also have a kicker witha 30

degree spot I think.
