Il n'est pas facile de capturer une si belle image, Richard. It takes patience, talent and some collaboration from the animal. Moreover, we must be careful: I went in a marsh, yesterday evening, in order to take some good shots of wild nature. At some point, while I was walking on a narrow bridge, my left foot slipped, which took me right away in the cold swamp!!! (I was still fortunate since I kept the camera out of the water...)

    Marvellous chef-d'oeuvre!

    It is so cute!

The massive wood brings an interesting contrast with the fragility of the bird.

Bravo Iren; you captured a lovely scene! I admire the nature - especially during Fall.

Thanks to share your visual findings with all of us! Have a nice weekend.

  1. Dear Kelvin, I wish I would master lighting like you do. The skin of your models looks always so smooth! I love the texture very much. Moreover, your new way to photograph with real and simple setting appeal to me. Bravo!

By the way, I think I saw you the other day in a subway train downtown TO, but I wasn't 100% sure. Since you were with a pretty girl, I suppose your girlfriend that I often saw in pictures - she looked the same, I kept quiet. :-)

Have a nice weekend. (Thanks also for all your comments; it's a new exciting world since I started to shoot in raw!)

Is it the latest "short takeoff and landing aircraft" on the market Richard?

Nice! I like the blurred background which contributes a lot to emphasize your bird in motion. Beautiful colours as well!
