In the small size I thought it might be an avocado with something on top. Impressive shape either way.

I agree 100% with Thomas. Beyond that, the combo of symmetric and off-symmetric could be interesting to explore. I'll try to upload a crop that balances top and bottom more. Plus one could play with rotating the picture slightly.

The PS work does not stand out, which makes it all the better.

The thumbnail looks kind of spooky, at bigger size the detail makes it more like a snapshot.

I see the model's expression reflecting the fact that she is balancing the flowers. It reminds me of the famous portrait of Churchill in which the photog had just stepped up to him and taken away his cigar - his bulldog expression and the one in this picture nicely show the confrontational aspect of portraiture.

The bagpipe is a single-drone traditional instrument (gajda) of Bulgaria and Macedonia. Normally it is played with the "chanter" (in front) pointing down so that the musician can conveniently finger the intricate rythmns of Bulgarian dance music, but for this slow tune we see the chanter held up to display the musician's emoting quavers as he brushes the lower holes with his right hand, making the subtleties of shading more audible to the musician in the process. Theatrically we also get an image of the player perhaps holding the corpse of his beloved as he mourns. The music is unlike Scottish/Irish bagpipe in that it falls within an octave, replacing tonal range with rythmic complexity, tho for a dirge the differences may be smaller.

The comments are as breathtakingly unanimous as the picture is striking. Whew!

I think the frame adds an interesting touch.
(Imagine seeing it on a mid-90's laptop screen):
plays well with the image (laptop screen),

I really like the abstract swirl of motion with a person in the center having an independant direction.

What are those odd boxes hanging from the wires?
