Hi folks, what do You think? I'd be glad to hear some comments.
Two photographers (one of them myself) in the underground floor of the Genetics Lab at the
University of Heidelberg. ATTENTION: cloning can be contaminous! ;-)
Special thanks to Stephan Kleinert for the wonderful photo tour. (You can see his version of
that picture here: http://www.fotocommunity.de/pc/pc/mypics/36933/display/5639515

Well it's great picture, but I would try to crop it some other way - e.g squared or just cut off a bit of the "black" space in the upper part and maybe start at the second fret of the guitar so thet it is more longer and less higher. You could also try to put some more light to the shadows and then increase the contrast.
Cheers

Comments and critique are welcome!
I know that the contrast is very high, but I think with lower contrast the photo would be some
kin of boring.

... but I hope you like it anyway. The B/W conversion wasn't trivial - don't know what Ansel
Adams would say, but I Think I have at least 10 zones ;-)
Thanks for comments and ratings!

The scene is not composed - the gloves were just lying there and I thought this could be a
symbol of the situation in Germany at the moment - strikes and a lot of unemployed people.
Any critique is welcome!

Fantastic B/W-conversion: I like hard contrasts. But why didn't you correct the horizon? It's fallin' about 3-4? to the left.
