ani23 0 Posted April 27, 2006 That one is pretty cool - the best one I've seen the last two weeks on photo.net! Congratulations! You could try to crop the very dark upper side just to have focus on the dog and shadows. Regards Ana Link to comment
hh253 0 Posted April 27, 2006 very good shot. Also I would have preferred more cropping on the top. Link to comment
mark_tso 0 Posted April 27, 2006 Extremely photographical image! (I would try to turn it 180 degree) Link to comment
mksnowhite 0 Posted April 28, 2006 Thank you all for your comments. this was one of the first photos i took with my nikkor 12-24 f4. I agree about the top but want to go with the longer aspect ratio....do you think it would be more square otherwise? I'll play with and see. Also turn it 180 degrees....would that make sense visually? I think it could work as then the shadows would be to the right....but then one dog would appear to be stading ona wall? I can't see it with a fresh eye enough to do it! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 1, 2006 I like this image just the way it is. I like the sense of space at the top. Great capture of light, shadow, and two dogs having fun. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted September 3, 2006 I think this is a truly great photo, just as it is - no crop or rotation imho. Perhaps the only thing that I'd suggest, strictly for internet purposes, is to sharpen this picture a bit differently, because sans textures are very difficult to do justice to with a small jpeg. May I ask how you sharpened this - estimate radius value mostly, and whether the file was scaled down and sharpened in stages or in one go ? PS: The file is also uploaded too large. How many MB was the original greyscale file ? Link to comment
