    F1 Wheel

          1

This is the hub, wheel and disk brake on a Renault Formula 1 car. The

car was kindlt loaned to the emergancy serices of the Thames Valley

for a road saftey presentation aimed at 16 to 18 year olds

  1. This is a photograph of a large glass plate at the RAF Duxford

airfield in Cambridgeshire, England, now part of the Imperial War

Museum. The plate is one of a number which form a perimeter at the

rear of the American Museum building. The plates have etched on them

a representation of each American aircraft that took off from

airfields in Britain and was lost on operational sorties. There are

around 7000 aircraft represented in the display. We also need to

remember the people from all nations who have died in wars

  2. This is a Ferrari 250 GTO at one time ,and possibly still, one of the

most sought after cars ever made.

I would welcome your thoughts on the composition or infact any aspect

you feel worthy of comment, good or bad.

    Wheels

          3

I was asked to stop taking pictures of these wheels,at Silverstone

during the FIA GT meeting, as " the Italians don't like it" or so I

was told. Well don't leave them laying about in the open then DOH!!!!

  3. This Is Guliano Gizzi, playing at "The Venue" in Sauchiehall Street,

Glasgow, with a band called Blind Ally. He went on to be successful

in another band by the name of Gun. This picture was taken in 1984.

Myself and another friend Mark Bradley, also a no mean guitist

himself, used to help move the bands gear to get into the concerts

free, fair exchange is no robbery in my book.

    Sir Jack Brabahm

          1

This is Sir Jack Brabham, the three times Australian Formula One

World Champion, he won a total of 14 Grand Prix. This picture was

taken at the Goodwood Festival of Speed a couple of years ago.

  4. I too like this a lot!!!! As for the grain I like grain in some picures and I think it works in this one. After all isn't grain,as well as light and dark, one of the media we use as photographers?

    Jock

          1

This is a soldier of the Scottish Division, taken at Edinburgh

Castle just prior to the Edinburgh Miltary Tattoo. I'm not sure

which regiment he is from as I didn't look at his cap badge.

A "Jock" is a nickname for a private soldier in a Scottish Regiment.
