I think that this is the best photo of "The Wave" I've yet seen. You must have been so excited when you got this one. Fantastic job! Frequently it's the repetition of forms like this that make great photographs. These two turret forms in sequence and perspective, plus the light, color and sky really make it. This photo satisfies the requirement, in my thinking, for an extra or "third element" which without would make for good but ordinary shot. Well done, Thomas.

Critiques Welcome. The spray bottle wasn't necessary. Actual rain!

Razaq, this is a special and very elegant photo. Great composition!

I like this! All of the shadows and highlights. When you're photographing stone, you can frequently get dramatic results with a photo that is 90% shadow. It makes what is left in the light so special.

This is a digital composite created from four of my photos by Al
Sanders. Any thoughts?

Great shot, Prabu! I am humbled. Some kind of jumping spider? Congratulations!

Jennifer, this is very nice! The illuminated seed heads against the shadowed background is a great effect. I love the implied motion to the right. Reminds me of the tall grasses along the Escalante River in southern Utah.
