  1. I think that this is the best photo of "The Wave" I've yet seen. You must have been so excited when you got this one. Fantastic job! Frequently it's the repetition of forms like this that make great photographs. These two turret forms in sequence and perspective, plus the light, color and sky really make it. This photo satisfies the requirement, in my thinking, for an extra or "third element" which without would make for good but ordinary shot. Well done, Thomas.

An absolutely beautiful photograph of this child. The setting with the peeling paint conveys a feeling of poverty or loss. An award winner. Great Job, Andrey!

Beautiful lighting, exposure and composition! Is this a type of Kingfisher? I knew immediately that this was taken with a 5D. The photo is lucid and very three-dimensional. Thanks for sharing!

I like this! All of the shadows and highlights. When you're photographing stone, you can frequently get dramatic results with a photo that is 90% shadow. It makes what is left in the light so special.

Nice Job! This is a great wide angle photo. Did you use one of the screw on wide angle adapters or was this a fish-eye lens?

Jennifer, this is very nice! The illuminated seed heads against the shadowed background is a great effect. I love the implied motion to the right. Reminds me of the tall grasses along the Escalante River in southern Utah.
