This is a show stopper! I love the way the rich lines of color lead to the view at the top. The compostion is great. The photo is so sharp and clear! Great one!

This is simply fantastic. I love the way the sandstone lines lead you into the image, and of course the stong warm/cool color contrast. Superb!

Tomas, as with the other shots in your portfolio, this one too is spectacular. I was near this area a few months ago when I toured Utah's National Parks & canyons. I missed this one-- is this "the Wave" in Pariah? Also, I think it may be helpful for many of us if you would kindly share your exposure details (although I assume that most are at least f11 and 1+ seconds?). Regards, Jeff

I think that this is the best photo of "The Wave" I've yet seen. You must have been so excited when you got this one. Fantastic job! Frequently it's the repetition of forms like this that make great photographs. These two turret forms in sequence and perspective, plus the light, color and sky really make it. This photo satisfies the requirement, in my thinking, for an extra or "third element" which without would make for good but ordinary shot. Well done, Thomas.

amazing composition; so easy to see after it has been done. Great lighting and exposure. ?add lighting or dodge/burn after the fact to get so great colors in FG. great detail in FG. double exposed?

This incredibly amazing shot leaves me wondering how evolutionary theorists explain the beauty they see here. We see the layers, supposedly laid down over millions ( billions ? ) of years, with swirls of different colored grains of sand transversing them !! This beauty looks like powerful flood waters laid it down, buried it and then abandoned it so we can sit in awe, taking in its story and beauty.
