I believe the huts are not overnight accommodations but serve a practical purpose for maintenance workers to store equipment and a warming station for either skiers or workers. But I would surmise they have had a variety of uses through their history and tourist accommodation may well have been one use in years gone by. Thanks for stopping by, JBP -
