Gregory, thanks for your critique! I really appreciatte it! What exactly do you mean by tweaking the laundry? Making it brighter, selectively, and possibly adding saturation? Not sure if I can do that in LR, but I'll give it a try using u-points in ColorEfex.

Yes, it's good. Not free from halos, though. This is at f2.

I'm considering applying some slight vignetting on the lower part of the image, just to make that uppermost stair step a bit less conspicous. I mean, the flight of stairs is not the main thing here.

Thanks for your encouraging words! I was considering a b/w version because of the slightly artificial look at present. But after your comments I'm kind of convinced that this color version is good.

Reflections from the right side makes the alley alive. Nicely captured; and edited, perhaps. Polarizer? I'm not so fond of the empty, sun lit space to the right in the foreground. But I guess there's no way of getting around it. Will proportions suffer if you crop?

Nicely and simply composed, with just enough detail not to make it boring. But where did you find that house? Is for children at "Junibacken"?

Thanks, Bruegel and Stephen! I actually agree now, that the foreground should be lightened up a bit that you're able more of the texture there. I'll try some local adjustments in CNX2. But again, I'm watching this in Chrome, which isn't treating the pics according to the profiles.
