<p>I have a neighbor from Turkey who recently graduated and she was seeking advice from my manager and another neighbor about her school using her photo during her graduation in an advertisement. It was used in a weekly newspaper here called San Diego Reader which is free because it's mostly funded by advertisements. She said she's the only person in the advertisement. She said her friends saw her photo and assumed she was paid for it. I asked her if she signed a model release and she said no. She was wondering if she's supposed to be compensated or if it was illegal or not.</p>

Does your lens have a gap (about 2mm) between the rear element and the mount?
-
Ooops. That didn't go right.

I just saw this today on Gizmodo.com. Alton uses a Canon EF.

The lenses. I wanted a 100mm f/2.0 for my Canon film slr. The only AF 100mm available is the Canon EF 100mm and the Nikkor 105mm DC. The Nikkor cost more than twice the Canon.

I can confirm that Arista Premium 400 is indeed Tri-X. I developed a roll of Tri-X and Arista Premium 400 in the same tank today. Here are my scans from a Minolta Dimage Scan III. No sharpening or "noise" reduction added. Camera is tripod mounted Canon EF with Canon FD 50mm f/3.5 s.s.c. macro.<div></div>

Thanks for the input. I was fooled by my five year old eMac monitor! I viewed this page on my sister's laptop and the photo looks fine. I'm relieved I developed the film right.

I developed a roll of 35mm Tri-x in Adox ATM 49 1:1 for 7 minutes and 30 seconds
at 20C. Thirty seconds initial agitation followed by two inversions every
minute. Fixed in TF-4. The grain and sharpness is fine but a straight scan shows
the areas that are supposed to be white (her hair) is a little gray. Should I
extend the development time to 8 or 8 1/2 minutes with the same agitation method
or use the previous time but agitate more (3 or 4 inversions instead of 2)?<div></div>
