Beautiful balance shown in the image. I liked the way the composition is asymmetric but only slightly from the figure being on the image. The other element I would also like to comment on, is the strong atmosphere in the photograph - well deserving for 'Photo of the week'.

Beautiful image - I rarely comment on stills although must shot them weekly at TAFE so I can appreciate the work, which is involved. The lighting, composition and silhouette has worked so well in this image - well done, it's a great shot.

I think this image is wonderful, it reminds me of a photograph National Geographic Photographer Jodie Cobb has taken in colour with a perforamce girl for carnival in Rio. It would be nice to see this one in colour as well.

I was a little shocked at some of the low ratings of this image - I think it is a very powerful one screaming a story behind the lens. Great lighting and composition, 7 out of 7 for me. I really thought about the Aesthetics and had to rate it a 7 as it really caught my eye, then the orginal had to be a seven when this is compared to all the portraits it stands out.

Nice idea with capturing the movement. This image caught my eye as I have a series of 6 photographs in my gallery for playing pool. The amount of time it takes to get the location right, timing of the day for the lighting?? I could go on forever about the checklist and the time involved in getting a great shot like this, Well done.

The first thing that grabs your attention is the atmosphere, which then leads you to the story within the image - overally complimented by the lovely composition. All the key elements to a perfect shot.
