I have an 8x10 MG500 system along with 4 4x5MG500 systems. A friend of mine recently got one for his 5x7 Durst but I have not seen it yet. From pics I have seen it looked like the 4x5 head with a "chute" at the bottom of it to open up to fit the 5x7 head on the enlarger. You should be able to make something like that without having to cannabilize the head itself.

Try Bill at 404/244-0095

It might be easier if you described the features of the camera you have, but one way to differentiate the IV and later from the III is the lens axis tilt on the later models vs. only base tilt backwards on the III.

Yes, it is the same mounting dimensions.

I agree with Grant. The trees above the house have an aweful lot of flare for a shot taken after sundown. What you see is flare/ghosting from the sun. Or perhaps it is a wormhole forming! A spatial anomoly? That definitely explains a lot of things!

How about "Engrish"?

I recently got the DiMAGE A1. This is a step up from the 7hi and so far I am amazed with the image quality and feature set on this camera. Consider this model as it will take the fat32 compatible CF cards (4 GB and higher)for one thing.

What is your Ebony's name? What position is best for mounting her?

There is/was a company in Los Angeles called Century Precision Optics, if I am correct, that made custom step-up rings for a friend of mine around 1990. He wanted to do the same thing you are looking for but in his case he wanted to go from a variety of thread sizes to Series 9. See if you can find this business, if not perhaps S.K.Grimes can make them for you or any good machine shop maybe.

Rent, borrow or buy one and make photographs with it, I would never make a decision based on specs alone. The sharpest images I have were taken with 240, 270 and 305 G-Clarons

Why don't you check in with Ian Wilson, their rep.

Use a Jobo 3010 Expert Drum. Yes they are somewhat expensive initially, but you will soon find out why they are worth the money. I get totally even development with the 4 various Expert Drums I have, and they are very easy to load.

Why don't you do some tests and let us know what you find? Isn't it best to do so since every ones methods are their own and would only get you into the ballpark?

Oh no! Not another musician! Actually I've been playing music a lot longer than I have been into photography. I play bass semi-professionally and also guitar and dulcimer (plucked). If you'd like to see and hear what I do musically check out my band's website www.rareblend.net.

Did you fix and rewash the print after bleaching? Perhaps obvious but some one has to ask! Also the RC papers at that time usually had developer incorporated into the paper and the new current papers are vastly superior to the old ones.

You should see my '73 Rickenbacker 4001! It has beautiful character.

Only four ,huh...
Well I guess I'll start with...Me, myself and I, and uh, I forget who the fourth is! ;-)

Do I need to bring my own light bulb (lightbulb) or will one be supplied to the participants?

I see :-)

NO offense, but what does this topic have to do with LF photography?

NIcholas,
As best as I can tell from the scale I have available, the 45SU weights 5.6 lbs.
Which clamp releases are best for Really Right Stuff BH-40?
