  1. Thank you all

I have had the problem with a Sandisk 2,0 GB too. I will put my camera thrug a new test

and see what will happend. I do formate the cards in the camera.

I started the last post about the D200 and the Sandisk card when the problem begin on a

trip to Greece, I dont have the problem now, but dont shot a lot with the camera right

now, but will make a new test and take a fresh look at the respons on the old post.

    thank you

  2. Okay, I was told right now by Nikon, Denmark, that the updat dosent exist right now, you

have to live with the firmwary that are in you camera from the factory, later ther will com a

    update...

My camera, D200, somtimes make "black" picturs/ frams,( with a read cross in a smal red

box in the center), I was told by a sals person, (Not Nikon) that it is the firmwary and the

Sandisk card that dont work proper together and that I ned a updat of the firmwary.

Do you now somthing difrent let me now.....

    regards

  3. Wher can I find firmwary updats to my D200

I try Nikon Europe/Denmark, (I bought the camera in Spain, but I am Danish) it is not working or I cant

    find it on ther site.

I have the 1,0 version firmwary in the camera, but want the 2.0 (ore the new version) so my Sandisk 4.0 GB

Extreme III card, can work proper with the camera. Is the update free

    thank you

  4. Thank you all

The problem have gon away now, I am in Grece , but will tjek the difrent options when I get home. Sory for my bad English but my wordbooks are at home too. I think my Sandisk are original (the price was), on is a Extreme 3, 4,0 GB the orther is a 2 GB normal card.I am Danish so my Spanish spelling is bad too.

    again thank you

    regards

  5. My new D200 starts to NOT wright/expos som of the fraems/picturs, it coms in

groups of like 10 freams that will be black and have a read cros in the

center, then it start to work okay again, I have 2 difrent SanDisk

compactFlash cards so I dont think it is the card...what can ther be wrong.

Whwn I expose the fream it looks okay but then later the pictur/info seams to

    be lost.

    regards

  6. Thanks all.

I just whanted to understand the therm "back focus" corectly, and I think I do now.

It is a "physical" think, you can see on you photos (not corectly in focus) right away, and

not som hiden softwear "hokospokus" that will show up later in the digital workflow, am I

    correct.

    regards

  7. Sorry but....

What is the back focus problem, can I se it if I have it on my new D200, if I have it what

can I do. I have a mix AF and MF lenses. Nikkor 35mm 1,4 Nikkor 50mm 1,8 and a Sigma

    18-35 (3,5-4-5) D AF Aspherical zoom.

    regards and thank you

  8. Ihola Jane

The D200 is a littel big for "wery small" hands, but it is a wery good camera, and I think

that you will just get around it, if you whant the best pro/sumer camera on the market

    right now.

  9. I will like to know what that girl did with the Rolleiflex too.........

Look after a Rolleiflex if you whant to go MF, the T models with the Tessar are nice end

light weight. If the slow speeds from 30 and dovn sticks it dosent mean that the faster

speeds are wrong, they work on a difrent gear. (on the Rollieflex)

But if the Rolliecord are cheap and nice, (from 100$ and down) why not take it and se if

you like to work with a tlr.

  10. Nikon 200D with "old lenses"

I am planing to get the new Nikon 200D as my first Digicamera. I have a: Sigma 18-35mm

3,5-4.5D Aspherical zoom. Nikkor 35mm 1,4 AIS and Nikkor 50mm 1,8 AIS. lenses (for my

    Nikon F2AS)

Will they preform well on the 200D. Is the Sigma zoom desent for the 200D.

ore is the 200D with 18-70mm kit a better setup.

I shoot most Fin art on 35mm and 120 film, but will shoot photos for traveling guide

books, and som portraits with the 200D.

  11. Hej Aaron

I was in Casablanca for a week last summer and in genaral I dident have any problems

taking photos of peopel, but som small problems in bars and the liks, Maroccon peopel

like a good discusion, just play stupid, say sory, let them win the argument,go away and

you have you photo. A lot of peopel (men) ask me to take ther portrait and whanted me to

send a copi to them. So in general just shout and take the heat later, if any.

One person will discus with you the reast will help you. They are nice peopel and not

    agrasiv at all.

    good luck
